Two DTU students, Yasmin Sassa Victor and Ana Liu Wu, have co-authored a new article titled “Multi-use platforms: A blueprint for sustainable ocean development?” The paper, developed as part of the WIN@Sea initiative, explores how offshore wind farms can be combined with aquaculture and biodiversity initiatives to make better use of marine space.
The authors highlight both the opportunities and challenges of multi-use platforms, addressing regulatory, technological, and environmental barriers.
